Sling Inspections help you manage the condition and service history of patient handling equipment. Use this feature to review past inspection details, perform new checks, and record findings to ensure equipment safety and compliance.

Sling Inventory

Access Sling Inventory

To locate slings for inspection, access the complete inventory list. This list displays all slings, their models, serial numbers, locations, and inspection dates. Filter the list using the search field or location dropdown to find the specific sling you need for inspection.

Prepare Sling for Inspection

To prepare a sling for inspection, select it from the inventory list. This action opens a details panel for the selected sling. Choose the 'Inspections' option to manage its inspection records.

Inspection Details

Review Inspection History

To understand a sling's maintenance record, review its inspection history. This displays a list of all past inspections, including the inspector, date, and completion status. Reviewing this history helps you track compliance and previous findings.

Start New Inspection

To begin a new inspection for a selected sling, choose the 'Inspections' option from its details panel. This action navigates you to the inspection management screen where you can start a fresh inspection process.

Record Inspection Checks

To document the sling's condition, record the results of each inspection check. Complete the list of safety and integrity points on the form by selecting the appropriate status for each item. This ensures a thorough assessment of the sling.

Add Inspection Comments

To provide additional context or details about the sling's condition, add comments to the inspection form. Use the comment section to describe any observations, issues, or recommendations not covered by the standard checks. This creates a comprehensive record of the inspection.

Save Sling Inspection

To finalize and store the inspection results, save the sling inspection form. This action records all checks and comments, making the inspection a permanent part of the sling's history. Saving ensures compliance and provides an auditable record of the sling's status.
