Activate new functionality for compatible hoists by managing features in MyGuldmann. Select a hoist from your inventory to view and claim new features for technician activation.

View Hoist Inventory
To understand your hoist assets and their operational status, view the Hoist Inventory. This provides a summary of all hoists, including utilization, age distribution, and sling age distribution. Access detailed information for each hoist, such as model, name, location, inspection dates, modules, upgrades, and installation date. Use the search field or location dropdown to filter the list and locate specific hoists.
Select Hoist for Feature Management
To manage features for a specific hoist, find the hoist in the Hoist Inventory table. Select the Action button next to the hoist, then choose Manage features. This opens the feature management interface for the selected hoist, allowing you to activate features.
Upgrade Features Available
Hoists that support upgrades have their options listed under the upgrade column. Currently, you can add Scale and Trainer features this way.

Access Hoist Features
To review features available for activation on a selected hoist, navigate to the 'View features' page after selecting Manage features. This page displays all features that can be added or are currently active for the hoist, along with their duration and quantity, indicating eligibility for upgrade.
Claim New Feature
To request activation of a new feature for your hoist, identify the desired feature from the list of available options on the 'View features' page. Select the feature to add, then confirm your choice to claim it. This formally requests the feature's addition to your hoist, moving it to the 'Requested features' section pending technician activation.
Claiming is not Activating
Claiming a new feature requests it; a technician must activate it during a visit before it becomes active.
Review Requested Features
To track feature activation status for your hoist, review the Requested features section on the 'View features' page. This shows features pending technician activation. Once activated during a technician visit, features appear under Activated features. Features with a set duration, move to the Expired features section upon term conclusion.
