View Sling Inventory
To see all slings available in your MyGuldmann system, view the sling inventory. This action lets you monitor the status of each sling, including its location and upcoming inspection dates. Access the inventory list to review essential details such as the sling's model, serial number, and next inspection due date. The system highlights slings with overdue inspections to ensure you maintain compliance and safety standards.
Search Sling Inventory
To quickly locate a specific sling, search the sling inventory. This action lets you find slings efficiently by filtering the list. Use the search field to enter criteria like model or serial number. The system then displays only the slings that match your search terms, streamlining your management process.
Sling Details
View Sling Details
To access comprehensive information about a particular sling, view its details. This action lets you review all recorded data for a selected sling, ensuring complete visibility into its specifications. Select a sling from the inventory list to view its details. This opens a dedicated view displaying its brand, model, serial number, SKU, barcode, EPC, current location, and its full inspection schedule.
View Sling Inspections
To understand the maintenance status and history of a specific sling, view its inspections. This action lets you check when a sling was added to the system, its next scheduled inspection date, and the regular inspection interval. From the sling's details view, access the inspection information to review its complete inspection history and upcoming schedule, ensuring timely maintenance and compliance.
Sling Management Actions
Move Sling
To update a sling's physical location, move the sling. This action lets you reassign a sling to a different department or area as its operational needs change. Select a sling from the inventory and choose to move it. Then, select the new location from the available options to update its record, ensuring accurate tracking of your assets.
Edit Sling Details
To correct or update specific information about a sling, edit its details. This action lets you modify a sling's recorded attributes, ensuring all data is current and accurate. Select a sling from the inventory and choose to edit its details. Update the relevant fields, such as its model, serial number, SKU, EAN/DU14, or EPC, and save your changes to reflect the most current information.
Delete Sling
To remove a sling from the inventory when it is no longer in use or has been decommissioned, delete the sling. This action lets you permanently remove a sling's record from the MyGuldmann system, keeping your inventory clean and relevant. Select the sling you wish to remove from the inventory list and choose the delete option. Confirm your action to permanently remove the sling's data from the system.
Toggle Sling Invalid Status
To mark a sling as temporarily or permanently out of service without deleting its record, toggle its invalid status. This action lets you change a sling's status to 'invalid' to indicate it should not be used, or revert it to 'valid' if it becomes usable again. Select a sling from the inventory and choose to toggle its invalid status. This updates the sling's availability, ensuring only safe and operational slings are in use.
