Overview
Asset claiming allows you to add new equipment to your MyGuldmann inventory. Register new hoists by submitting serial numbers and new slings by submitting EPC values.
There is no upper limit to the amount of equipment you can import into your MyGuldmann inventory. You can add as many hoists and slings as necessary. Nonetheless, for larger inventories, it is recommended to use the Pro-tier.
The Pro-tier allows you to categorize your equipment by locations. This helps you manage and organize your inventory more effectively. Additionally, you can define user permissions to control who can view specific equipment.
Equipment Registration
Initiate Hoist Claiming
To add new hoists to your inventory, select Claim hoists from the Assets dropdown. This action opens the hoist claiming page.
Enter Hoist Serial Numbers
Enter the serial numbers for each hoist you wish to register. Separate multiple serial numbers with commas or Newline to register them individually.
Submit Hoist Claim
Select the Claim hoists button after entering all serial numbers. This registers the hoists into your MyGuldmann inventory.
Initiate Sling Claiming
To add new slings to your inventory, select Claim slings from the Assets dropdown. This action opens the sling claiming page.
Enter Sling EPC Values
Enter the EPC values for each sling you want to register. You can add these manually or use a UHF RFID scanner. Separate multiple EPC values with commas or newline to register each one individually.
RFID EPC Reading
EPC values are unique to each RFID tag. Use an RFID scanner to read them.
Asset Import Hint
If your current asset management system includes EPC values, you can import them from a text file by copying and pasting.
Submit Sling Claim
Select the Claim slings button after entering all EPC values. This registers the slings into your MyGuldmann inventory.
Equipment Inventory Review
View Hoist Inventory
Review all hoists in your inventory by accessing the hoist inventory section. This section displays details for each hoist, including model, name, location, and inspection dates. Use the search field or location dropdown to filter your view.
View Sling Inventory
Review all slings in your inventory by accessing the sling inventory section. This section displays details for each sling, including model, serial number, location, and inspection dates. Use the search field or location dropdown to filter your view.
